  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F
  2. Cut bread in a crisscross pattern
  3. Spoon butter/onion mixture into bread cracks. Arrange cheese slices and shredded cheese between the bread cuts
  4. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes
